Conner is oh so beautiful and wonderful with children. He is very engaged, intelligent, and willing even for such a young pony. He is a really special guy.

June 2010, PonyPros took 9 students to Evans Welsh Ponies for a field trip. 8 year old Zoey was Conner's partner for the trip. Zoey had Conner walking through water, sending over hills, and migrating all around the property carrying a saddle. Zoey was also able to jump up and lay on his back, and he's definitely ready to start. Conner absolutely loved the attention. He left his hay to come hang out with the kids sitting on the fence and stayed until we went inside. Conner is a pony who will bond very strongly and go out of his way to try to do the right thing.

Conner was very brave with the tarp, ball, and all our other toys. Though he likes to play, he's low maintenance and mostly just wants your love. Conner was great about getting all decked out in glitter and a lei when the girls wanted to have pony weddings. He's a pony who really seems to get the little girl thing.

Conner's sire is imported from the Netherlands and we have worked with 2 of his siblings. They're all beautiful movers, quiet thinkers, and hover between RBE/RBI. They're kind and obedient like RBI ponies but are not difficult to read, and respond well to getting to "shake it off" (move their feet) after learning something new that requires focus. Conner would be a nice pony even for families who keep their ponies at home and play with less structure as he is naturally passive and will not likely to challenge the kids. He should be a nice, responsive pony who is light on the aids and well suited for most moms and little girls.

Conner is at his breeders in Joseph, Oregon. We'd love to have him at our barn for miles should he need some training before going to his new family :)
